In addition, it has significantly expanded the common abbreviations and common prefixes and suffixes found in general vocabulary lists, with approximately 100 new entries for each category. This book is based on the 《General Vocabulary List for College English Teaching Program (Levels 1–4)》 and 《General Vocabulary List for College English Teaching Program (Levels 5–6)》。 According to the revised program's requirements for vocabulary, it includes a total of 6,500 words.
