What is adventure? The dictionary defines it as exploring places that have never been visited or visited by few people (natural conditions). In other words, it is to gather the courage to try even though you know the place you want to explore is dangerous. However, it does not mean recklessly doing things that others have not done or that threaten life safety. Instead, you must carefully plan and prepare thoroughly before taking action, do your best to avoid danger, and bravely face the remaining 1% of unexpected danger that you haven’t anticipated—this is what is called adventure in this book.
You must still remember the first time you traveled alone without your parents or the first time you went camping with a mix of excitement and anxiety in your heart. That is the kind of unease where you worry, "What if something dangerous happens?" This feeling of unease appears every time you embark on an adventure. Precisely because of this unease, you are better prepared for failure, and you can more deeply experience the joy of overcoming difficulties and conquering yourself.
