Let us reflect on history, face reality, and move towards the future—human history is the history of its diseases, and epidemics or pandemics have accompanied the process of human civilization. They often bring more intense consequences than wars, revolutions, or violent upheavals. Because they directly strike the core of civilization and the most fundamental element of all productive forces—human beings themselves, attacking their bodies and their minds. Moreover, it has had an extremely profound and far-reaching impact on human civilization itself.
