Is there any harm in the hemolysis test for the fetus?

Patient's question:

Detailed medical condition and consultation purpose: My wife is 37 weeks pregnant. This is her first hemolysis test (at 3 months), with a ratio of 1:32. The result from the day before yesterday (37 weeks and 4 days) was 1:128.
Please ask:
Does this pose any harm to the fetus? Will it cause neonatal hemolysis?!!!!!!
Should we undergo further more detailed tests? How should we proceed???

Doctor's answer:

Generally, if a pregnant woman with O-type blood has a husband who is A-type or B-type blood, and the baby born is A-type or B-type blood, hemolysis may occur. However, it does not necessarily mean that hemolysis will always happen, so you don't need to worry. When the baby is born, the doctor will provide the appropriate treatment and care.
