Is it normal for a child's heart rate to be between 90 and 96?

Patient's question:

When she fell asleep at night, her body felt very hot under the blankets. A thermometer measured her surface temperature at 37 degrees Celsius, with a heart rate of 90-96 beats per minute. Upon waking up in the morning, her heart rate dropped to 66 beats per minute.
Is this normal? Are there any issues? Please tell me!
Thank you!

Doctor's answer:

If it's 10 years old, that's not normal. It's best to have an electrocardiogram check!
