Features: To provide a rich collection of Chinese couplet calligraphy images and texts for researchers, creators, and enthusiasts of Chinese couplet calligraphy both domestically and internationally, we spent over two years selecting 500 outstanding works of couplet calligraphy from various historical periods. This series, titled "The Classics of Chinese Couplet Calligraphy," is published in five volumes, each dedicated to one script style: Seal Script, Clerical Script, Regular Script, Running Script, and Cursive Script. Each volume contains 100 pieces, titled "Seal Script: 100 Couplets," "Clerical Script: 100 Couplets," "Regular Script: 100 Couplets," "Running Script: 100 Couplets," and "Cursive Script: 100 Couplets." The selected works in this series not only consider the readability of their literary content but also emphasize the diversity of the calligraphic art forms. Most of the works included are renowned masterpieces from the Ming and Qing dynasties, while selected works from modern and contemporary calligraphers are also incorporated, as well as appropriate selections from elderly calligraphers of the present era. Our goal is to systematically and comprehensively compile and present the finest couplet calligraphy works from both ancient and modern masters for the readers' appreciation.
