Features: Xia Junna is a very "pure" painter. Her creations do not rely on the intervention of concepts or the accumulation of materials; she works only to maintain a "purity" of painting, working on the lowest material basis. As long as she has a brush, and canvas, she can paint, paint large paintings, without sketches, and no references are needed. Everything starts from the brush, emerging from the process of painting. Xia Junna clearly belongs to the category of highly talented painters. In terms of style, her art falls under the Expressionism category, and Expressionist painters are those who possess great natural talent and authenticity. In the era when realistic oil painting was burgeoning, this type of painter stood out even more.
