Does Bell's palsy have a good treatment? Have taken some blood pressure lowering medicine

Patient's question:

Does facial paralysis have any good treatments? Have you taken some blood pressure and blood sugar lowering drugs?

Doctor's answer:

Patients with facial paralysis should apply a warm, damp towel to the affected side of the face, 3-4 times a day, for 15-20 minutes each time. The patient can be guided to massage the paralyzed facial muscles in front of a mirror, 3-4 times a day, for 3-10 minutes each time.
Since this condition prevents the affected eye from closing, an eye mask should be worn during sleep and when outdoors, along with antibiotic eye drops to protect the cornea and prevent conjunctivitis. If facial nerve paralysis occurs, early treatment should be initiated (medication such as Zheng Zheng San, acupuncture at Hegu, Di Chang, and Che Chen, and physical therapy).
For those who cannot close their eyes, an eye mask should be used to protect the eyes from dust and other irritants that may cause corneal damage. It is advisable to wear a mask or other protective gear when outdoors to prevent wind from worsening the condition.
