Features: Yan Tianhe is an ordinary and unfortunate child. Having lost her mother since childhood and being in conflict with her stepmother, she is introverted and independent. From birth to junior high graduation, her life was as ordinary as plain water. In the junior high entrance exam, she narrowly missed getting into a key high school by a small margin. At this time, an affiliated academy of a mysterious organization sent her an admission notice, on the condition that she must work for the organization. To obtain a graduation certificate from a top-tier school and achieve self-reliance in life, Yan Tianhe decisively decided to join their research team and became the pilot of the No. 1 machine, known as "M.E," a humanoid combat machine. From then on, Yan Tianhe was drawn into the vortex formed by various people and things gathered at the organization's headquarters. The vast underground headquarters housed numerous secret research projects; the true purpose of developing M.E; mysterious sea monsters constantly attacking the headquarters; the astonishing ambitions of the elders; the close relationship between her mother and the organization; the strange death of the former head of the M.E research institute; and the terrifying treasures buried at the bottom and an ancient legend. However, none of these compare to the mystery of her partner—the No. 4 machine pilot, Li Xu. This boy, who never takes off his mask, is the most veteran pilot. The silent and reserved him is under the close attention of the high leadership, and his actual power far exceeds that of the heads of various research institutes. At the same time, the extraordinary strength surrounding him attracts the sensitive Yan Tianhe, who proactively extends a hand of friendship. From then on, their lives and deaths are intertwined, and two lonely hearts find solace in each other.
