Features: This is a research monograph by the renowned Taiwanese writer Li Ao, who exposes the myths of Chiang Kai-shek through historical facts. For decades, under the oppressive rule of the Chiang family, the people of Taiwan were humiliated and mocked to the point of numbness. The author could not accept this, stood up, and exposed the various crimes of Chiang Kai-shek in broad daylight, revealing his pretense, his issue, his escape, the real and fake secret bureaus, and debunking his education level, his involvement in the 28th January Incident and the 13th August Incident, and determining where Chiang Kai-shek was at critical moments, as well as his usurpation in the Zhaohe Uprising. The author is rigorous in scholarship, speaks based on evidence, and convinces people thoroughly. Regarding Chiang Kai-shek, I do not curse or praise him for temporary political purposes; I curse Chiang Kai-shek because it is the right thing to do, and everything is based on evidence. It is the way of the heavens. The characteristic of "Heaven's way is constant" is to advance on one's own path, "neither for Yao nor for Jie," not letting temporary existence or non-existence determine the course of the right path. Only by adhering to this consistently can one be considered a true hero.
