Can a normal brain CT rule out epilepsy?

Patient's question:

The doll has epilepsy and has had it for a month. What should I do? I went to the hospital and had a brain CT, which was normal. The doctor said I still need an EEG to confirm, but I'm afraid it might be epilepsy.

Doctor's answer:

Epilepsy patients should first avoid drinking alcohol and smoking; not stay up late; not eat foods that are easily irritating; maintain a good mood, avoid getting angry; engage in more sports to strengthen the body and reduce the occurrence of colds.
On a daily basis, pay attention to the following:
First, diet should be light, with minimal meat, especially pork (absolute taboo for fatty pork). Other meats should be consumed in moderation.
Eat more foods rich in vitamins B and C, fresh vegetables, and foods rich in choline minerals, such as apricots, bananas, grapes, oranges, seaweed, fish, eggs, and cabbage. Corn, brown rice, whole wheat, soybeans, garlic, mushrooms, yeast, dairy products, animal liver, sardines, and lean meats are also beneficial for the brain.
Second, engage in appropriate physical exercise to avoid overexertion. Maintain a regular sleep schedule to avoid staying up late and insufficient sleep.
Third, in terms of emotions, avoid getting angry and reduce stress in all aspects. Additionally, computers and TVs should not be used for too long—no more than one hour at a time.
