Is absence epilepsy serious?

Patient's question:

My daughter is 7 years old. Symptoms include staring, lasting 4-6 seconds, and no response to. The hospital examination suggested absence epilepsy. Is it serious? MRI was normal. EEG was abnormal.

Doctor's answer:

Epilepsy is a chronic disease, difficult to treat and prone to recurrence. However, through authoritative treatment and adherence to medical advice, it can still be cured. It is recommended to adopt the three-in-one rehabilitation system therapy, which repairs damaged brain neuron cells to restore self-function, allowing the brain to generate discharges in an orderly manner, thereby preventing seizures.
