Features: The author has been engaged in teaching color art in art colleges for nearly four decades. In the early 1980s, China's higher art colleges officially introduced the "Three Major Compositions" into the classroom, and the author was one of the early teachers to offer the "Color Design Composition" course. In addition to teaching on campus, since 1983, the author has been invited to teach color composition at the national color design research class organized by the Textile Ministry in Wuhu, and has repeatedly taught color composition at national refresher courses organized by the Light Industry Ministry, Textile Ministry, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Shanghai Institute of Textiles, and Tianjin Textile University. Through this, the author has accumulated rich teaching experience. In this book, the author not only provides a detailed and systematic introduction to the basic theories and techniques of color composition but also presents some of his own views and insights. He attempts to establish a clearer and more thorough system with new perspectives, expressing the fundamental principles and laws of color composition as well as the clear training methods.
