It is jointly produced by Beijing Television Art Center Audio-Visual Press and Beijing Times Audio-Visual Company. The series of television lectures has the following features:

The lecture series has been consistently in line with the spirit of leadership from Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and Jiang Zemin's "Three Represents."
