Anna Karenina (Part 1, Part 2)

Author:】[Russian] Leo Tolstoy
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2002-01-01
Features: This book has been published over a hundred years ago. With the passage of time and changes in the world, this artistic masterpiece from the hand of a giant has not only retained its brilliance but has become even more magnificent. However, when it first appeared, it attracted quite a bit of criticism. What is astonishing is not the criticism of its content. Any work reflecting current life is bound to evoke different reactions. What is astonishing is the skepticism expressed toward the art of this work. One of the issues is the so-called lack of structure. The plot revolves around two parallel yet closely linked threads: one is the story of Anna, her husband Lenin, and her lover Vronsky; the other is the story of Levin and his lover Kitty.
