Is it normal for a three-year-old's temperature to be high and low?

Patient's question:

For a month, I have been receiving intravenous drips and taking medication. Sometimes my temperature is normal, and sometimes it's slightly above 37 degrees. After stopping the drips and medication for two days, my temperature became fluctuating, sometimes normal, and sometimes above 38 degrees (without taking any fever-reducing measures).
Previous Treatment and Effects:
I previously received intravenous drips for ten days. After the medication wore off, I had high fever, over 39 degrees. Later, I switched to another hospital, where my temperature sometimes returned to normal and sometimes remained slightly elevated during the drips.
Help Needed:
Is this normal?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, a low-grade fever in children is between 37.5℃ and 38℃, moderate fever is between 38℃ and 39℃, high fever is above 39℃, and extremely high fever is above 41℃. When the temperature reaches above 38.5℃, it should be reduced under the guidance of a doctor. If the temperature does not exceed 38℃, there is generally no need to rush to reduce the fever. Newborns or very young infants are particularly susceptible to these conditions. The readings from the armpit thermometer, oral thermometer, and rectal thermometer are approximately 0.5 degrees apart in sequence, with the armpit thermometer showing the lowest reading and the rectal thermometer showing the highest. Generally, measuring armpit temperature should be done for 5 minutes. During this time, it is important to drink plenty of water, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, avoid spicy and irritating foods, especially fish and shrimp, and maintain a calm mood.
