Features: This book is a romantic fable of the urban jungle. In endless pursuit, you will encounter one coincidence and chance after another, as well as one unexpected twist and missed encounter. The real city is like a landscape in the fog, subtly emitting a melancholic beauty, carrying dreams without promises. With his delicate brushwork and poetic art style, the author Jimi captures the hearts of readers, and those destined to meet will have a warm ending. "She habitually walks to the left, he habitually walks to the right, yet they never meet." This book is Jimi's first long-form graphic novel exploring the emotions between men and women. The intricate relationship between the male and female protagonists forms the core of the story. The transitions between pages are cleverly arranged, and the lines and colors are handled with finer details, showcasing a skillful and varied technique. It is one of Jimi's more mature works and also one of his representative pieces.
Jimi explains that the inspiration for this book came from one day being unable to paint due to the loud noise of a neighbor's drill. He was forced to daydream and let his thoughts wander wildly. Suddenly, he realized he didn't know who lived next door, yet they were separated by just a thin wall every night. If they happened to meet outside, and never mentioned where they lived to each other, they might never see each other again, and would always remain unaware that they were neighbors.
