Features: With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, more and more people choose to travel during holidays and weekends. To meet the needs of travelers for maps, China Map Publishing House has compiled and published the "New Century China Travel Map Atlas" for readers' reference. The atlas has the following characteristics:
1. Comprehensive, detailed, and up-to-date. The atlas consists of parts such as opening maps, regional maps, World Heritage maps, and maps of tourist cities and attractions in various provinces and cities. It includes 600 maps, 210 photos, and over 130,000 words, with 183 city maps, 67 nearby maps, and 334 tourist attraction maps. It comprehensively introduces the current status and characteristics of China's tourist attractions, making it the most detailed travel map atlas of its kind available.
2. To highlight tourism priorities, only 4 opening maps and 9 regional maps are used to introduce the distribution of tourist attractions and transportation, while more space is dedicated to detailed descriptions of tourist attractions. To make up for the lack of representation of nearby attractions, nearby maps are placed within each provincial and city map for easy reference. Additionally, the World Heritage maps, which are hot topics of public interest, are placed before each provincial and city map, providing detailed introductions to the characteristics of each World Heritage site through large-scale photographs, texts, and maps, meeting people's needs for information about China's World Heritage sites.
3. In terms of layout, the atlas adopts a mixed format of maps, photographs, and texts, with relatively harmonious colors. Some famous mountains and rivers are depicted using the hachure method to intuitively show their terrain, highlighting the characteristics of the tourism map atlas.
