Features: The author calmly depicts the rise and fall of the IT world, using literature to convey a deeper meaning. What is this persistent "way"? Is it "Digital Survival," or "Only the Madman Can Survive"? It must be noted that survival or destruction is the dilemma faced by every IT hero. They deeply understand the technological driving force of Moore's Law, pushing their personal energy to the limit in constant torment. However, when soaring against the wind, they realize that the cheese in their hands has been quietly snatched away by some new industry giant. This is a true history of IT heroes. As one of China's most influential independent critics in the information industry, the author has spent years reviewing thousands of Chinese and English texts, finally crafting this IT history. The author does not seek to make this book as unchangeable as the Lüshi Chunqiu, but only hopes it can provide a fair description of each IT hero, enabling readers to gain an unmisleading understanding while reading! The IT should be a history of people. Those who have contributed to the industry are all worthy of the title of hero. It is precisely their rich and diverse achievements that have made the industry grand and tumultuous. Some set the tone for the industry with their unique insights, while others turn the entire industry around with groundbreaking inventions. Whether their final outcome is poverty or wealth, they should be vividly recorded in the history of the industry. The author calls this endeavor a "civilizational adventure." Its innovative format and subject selection are commendable attempts, worthy of our applause!
