Features: "Nursing Psychology" is a compulsory course in nursing education in China and one of the important components of modern nursing. During the writing process of this book, a clear guiding ideology was established: , with a well-defined target orientation. In organizing the content, we considered both the training objectives and characteristics of clinical nurses, as well as the teaching and disciplinary development of the course. We strive to provide students with rich nursing knowledge within a limited time, emphasizing the practicality of the content under the premise of fully embodying nursing, which means highlighting the guiding significance of the textbook content for nursing practice. We aim to achieve a close integration of nursing psychology theory and clinical nursing practice. Third, in terms of writing style, we strive to make the book (illustrated and engaging) to enhance students' interest in learning. This textbook is divided into thirteen chapters, mainly covering knowledge of general psychology and clinical nursing psychology. Chapter 1: Introduction; Chapters 2 to 4: Basic psychological knowledge, laying a foundation for better understanding the subsequent content; Chapter 5: Psychosocial Factors and Mental Health, introducing knowledge of mental health and the relationship between psychological factors and health and disease; Chapters 6 and 7: Psychological Testing and Psychotherapy, primarily aimed at helping students master psychological intervention theories and techniques; Chapters 8 to 13: Content on patient psychological care, focusing on the discussion of psychosomatic diseases, common clinical psychological disorders, the procedures and methods of psychological care, the psychological needs of patients, and methods of psychological care. It also briefly introduces the mental health issues of military personnel during peacetime and wartime. During the writing process, all contributors strove to follow the predetermined guiding ideology to fully reflect the development trends of modern nursing and meet the requirements of nursing education in China. However, due to the limited level of the authors, whether the writing goals are achieved still awaits verification in practice.
