Our society is developing rapidly, with economic prosperity and a vibrant cultural landscape, making our lives richer and more diverse. The psychological and physiological development of young people is also accelerating. Today's youth and tomorrow's youth will differ in both economic and cultural aspects. This reflects the progress of our society and also the diversification of our cultural life. However, no matter how things change, these developments are subtly influencing the physical and psychological growth of young people. They are smart, mature, sensitive, and have a more enriched emotional life. They live under the golden sun, basking in it, and grow under it. Because of this, adults often overlook the differences between them or misunderstand their true needs. So, how can these young saplings under the sun not be scorched by its rays and grow strong under the golden sun? This is the question we should consider.
There are already many books published in the category of campus literature, and most of them focus on the emotional issues young people face at school, home, and in society. In reality, these problems are inevitable in the process of growing up. That is to say, no matter the era, emotional issues will arise during the growth of adolescents. Therefore, whether for educators or families, how to view this issue is very important. If young people are not scientifically guided to understand and address emotional issues, leading them out of immature emotional confusion, it will inevitably result in more negative consequences.
Based on this understanding, we have named this book series "Golden Sunshine Album." We hope that young readers can find joy in growth and discover the true meaning of life through reading and reflection. It is undeniable that not all the manuscripts included in this book are outstanding, but why were they chosen? I believe that these articles are mostly authentic, without the overly embellished of adult writing. Some may ask, won't this encourage young people to imitate such writing styles? I don't think so. Because I believe that young people have the ability to understand and discern right from wrong. We edit and publish their works to show them what makes a good article and what doesn't. Under the golden sun, we are all busy, so why can't we give them some space for imagination, letting them envision their own future paths? I think providing them with a platform for creativity is a good thing. However, on this platform, we must guide and support them, helping them navigate emotional challenges, bravely face life's pressures, relax, and understand themselves, focusing their energy on their studies.
Here, I also want to tell these young authors that publishing your works is to help you better understand yourself and the people around you, and to grasp the true meaning of life—emotions are not the entirety of life. It doesn't mean that just because your works are published, your articles will automatically be good. Instead, we hope that through writing, you can relax and focus your energy on your studies. Remember, a truly wonderful life begins now—study hard and lay a solid foundation of knowledge.
Society has diverse roles: parents work hard, teachers educate, and your role is to be a student—studying diligently is your primary responsibility. Think about it: If someone cannot even fulfill their basic responsibilities, how can they be expected to take on emotional responsibilities? Under the golden sun, you must not be scorched by the sun of emotions due to the immaturity of your thoughts. You need the nourishment of knowledge, the watering of rain, and true emotional care. This care comes from your parents, teachers, and classmates who are well-rounded in intellect, wisdom, physical fitness, and strength. Believe me, I am willing to be a friend to all young people.
