Features: With the rapid development of the socio-economy, people's work, study, and life pace have been accelerating, and competition among individuals has become increasingly fierce, with heightened stress levels. Behavioral patterns and lifestyles have also undergone significant changes. These transformations have directly or indirectly led to psychological and social issues within the population, with the number of individuals experiencing psychological disorders continuously rising. For individuals facing such issues, receiving psychological counseling and therapy may be the fundamental, and sometimes even the only, method to address their psychological problems and disorders. Therefore, cultivating a large number of specialized professionals skilled in psychological counseling and therapy has become an unavoidable responsibility of higher education. In the past, only a few comprehensive universities or normal universities in China offered undergraduate psychology programs, but their curricula did not include systematic course settings for clinical psychology, and their graduates rarely engaged in psychological counseling and therapy work. To meet the growing societal demand for clinical psychology professionals, a number of medical schools have begun to offer undergraduate applied psychology programs (with a focus on clinical psychology). Psychological Therapy is one of the specialized textbooks developed for such programs. This book has the following three features: (1) Comprehensive and systematic content; (2) Emphasis on the guiding role of theory in practice; (3) Highlighting practicality. The authors of this book are experts with years of experience in teaching and conducting research in medical psychology at universities, as well as extensive practical experience in psychological therapy. Therefore, this book is a crystallization of the collective wisdom of numerous educators. It serves as both a specialized textbook for undergraduate clinical psychology programs and an important reference for clinical physicians, psychological professionals, educators, and social workers.
