Baby doesn't sleep soundly in the second half of the night

Patient's question:

The baby is almost four months old. Lately, during the afternoon nap in the second half of the night, he hasn't been sleeping soundly. He often murmurs for over an hour or two, and his hands are always moving around. He also frequently scratches his head. In the first half of the night, he often sleeps from around 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and I still need to wake him up for a diaper change. Why does he become restless during the second half of the night?
What kind of assistance would you like:
"Hello, is this due to calcium deficiency? How should I supplement calcium for such a young child?"

Doctor's answer:

It is recommended to try taking oral calcium gluconate and Ekena. Get more sun exposure and eat more bone soup, crucian carp soup, and lean meat. Children under 2 years old typically need 400—600 milligrams of calcium daily. Following a normal diet, children only get two-thirds of the required calcium from food, so they must supplement the remaining one-third with calcium daily. Additionally, the body has a series of adjustment mechanisms to regulate calcium intake. If calcium levels are sufficient, the intestines will absorb less calcium; otherwise, they will absorb more. Excess calcium is also excreted through urine and feces.
