Patient's question:
All is normal, just answering, smiling, eating dinner with a crooked mouth for 3 or 4 days. The previous treatment and its effects: didn't see any care, what kind of assistance is needed: Hello, what kind of disease is this, how to implement the treatmentDoctor's answer:
As Bell's palsy often occurs suddenly, patients often believe they have a history of facial exposure to cold or strong wind, leading many to mistakenly attribute it to being blown by a "ghostly wind."Clinical Advice: Bell's palsy typically shows no preceding symptoms. After onset, the affected facial muscles weaken, causing facial asymmetry. The affected side may again exhibit loss of nasolabial folds, drooping mouth corners, and drooling. When drinking or rinsing, liquid may leak from the corners of the mouth. Frown lines disappear, making it impossible to raise the eyebrows or frown. The upper eyelid cannot close, leading to tearing and potential conjunctivitis. Puffing the cheeks may cause air to escape, and speech may become slurred.
