Features: Education is science, and science requires exploration; education is art, and art requires innovation. Exploration is a pursuit, seeking new answers and resolving doubts; innovation, on the other hand, is a positive transformation of existing things and the status quo. Only by guiding students with a spirit of innovation can we cultivate their exploratory spirit, potentially sparking strong innovative motivation and unlocking their creative potential. When discussing exploration and innovation, it inevitably involves the human brain and thinking. The level of development of brain function directly impacts a person's innovative ability. From a physiological perspective, the division of the left and right hemispheres of the human brain is scientific, and creativity is closely related to the balanced development of both hemispheres. Currently, the phenomenon of "left-brain dominance" in school education is still prominent. People often emphasize abstract thinking education while neglecting the training of visual thinking, which to some extent limits the coordinated development of both hemispheres. In this regard, outstanding physical education teacher Zhang Bohu and his colleagues have conducted systematic research and teaching experiments in physical education under the guidance of the general research topic "Theoretical Research and Teaching Experiments on the Development of Visual Thinking" for many years. Based on this, they have written the monograph "Thinking, Skills, and Physical Education Teaching." For years, teachers have adhered to the principle of linking theory with practice, actively exploring and bravely practicing, continuously broadening their perspectives and deepening their understanding, achieving good teaching results. We hope that the research findings can be like seeds, taking root, blooming, and bearing fruit in the vast fertile ground of education.
