The third part elaborates on the development of TCM decoction preparation research since modern times; briefly introduces the research achievements of TCM granular decoction preparations, ultra-fine powder tablets, and concentrated granules; explains the basic approach, main content, and scientific research methods of TCM decoction preparation research; and offers opinions on the main unresolved issues and development prospects of TCM decoction preparation research. At the end of the book, there are excerpts from national key science and technology programs and relevant regulations on TCM decoction preparation research. This book provides a relatively complete summary of the techniques, purposes, functions, theories, and applications of ancient and modern TCM decoction preparation, especially the achievements of TCM decoction preparation research since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
