Features: This book begins by introducing the mechanism of "transport processes," aiming to clarify the fundamental physical phenomena, laws, concepts, and basic problem-solving methods of transport processes. The book consists of thirteen chapters. Chapters 1 to 3 introduce vector analysis and preliminary field theory, as well as an introduction to momentum, heat, and mass transfer, and overall mass, energy, and momentum balances. Chapters 4 to 6 cover the knowledge related to momentum transfer, including basic equations of fluid dynamics, several solutions to fluid motion equations, and boundary layer flow. Chapters 7 to 9 introduce the knowledge related to heat transfer, including an introduction to heat transfer, energy equations, heat conduction, and convective heat transfer. Chapters 10 to 12 cover the knowledge related to mass transfer, including an introduction to mass transfer, molecular diffusion, and convective mass transfer. The final chapter compiles some of the author's papers published in core journals domestically and internationally on the transport phenomena of colloidal liquid droplets. These are part of the author's series of research results on low Reynolds number flows using the creeping flow theory of transport processes. The majority of these papers have been indexed by SCI and EI. The book is reasonably selected, well-structured, and has a certain depth of mathematical theory, making it suitable as a teaching textbook for graduate students and teachers in chemical engineering, power, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electronics, aerospace, environmental, and biological engineering. It can also serve as a reference for researchers, designers, and engineering technicians in the aforementioned fields.
