Features: Since the publication and release of my monograph on English vocabulary memorization, Vocabulary Master, by China International Radio Publishing House in January 2003, it has been well-received by a broad readership. They believe the systematic transformation method proposed in the book is innovative and highly inspiring for vocabulary memorization. For an ordinary scholar like me, who has long been immersed in bookish pursuits, this was tremendous encouragement. However, Vocabulary Master has a relatively high focus, with some of the included words being quite challenging, making it less suitable for general university students. Therefore, I had always planned to write a book tailored for college students learning vocabulary, with a scope targeting the 5,500-word College English vocabulary. This idea was quickly supported by China International Radio Publishing House. Thus, I plunged headfirst into the conceptualization process for this book.
