Features: This is a long novel depicting a contemporary alternative writer's obsession with the fashionable lifestyle. Renowned writer and freelance contributor Cheng Yu lives and resides in the coastal open city of Luhai, wandering among the "fashion and glamour": clubbing, music, online dating, one-night stands... Unintentionally, he gets involved in a major case that harms many ordinary people; between sexual temptation and moral integrity, Cheng Yu chooses the former; he plots and schemes, helping his old classmate "turn the tables" and rise to high office... The work delicately and profoundly reveals the vulgarity, profit-seeking, compromise, and wavering nature of some intellectuals in real life, successfully adding a new artistic image to the novel. Love, exploration... The work presents a multi-faceted portrayal of the colorful contemporary social life, offering not only an extraordinary reading pleasure but also a sense of fulfillment.
