Confucius said

Features: In the 1980s, when I still lived in Wyoming, I traveled to Seattle with my family and bought a bilingual (Chinese-English) edition of "The Four Books" in a Chinese bookstore on Chinatown. I felt like I had found a treasure. From then on, whenever I had free time, I would take out the book to read. Gradually, I discovered that the translator, James Legga, was a British missionary who came to China a hundred years earlier. His Victorian-style English was elegant, but it lacked freshness and fluency. This book introduces how to be a benevolent person and how to govern, in both English and the original classical Chinese, supplemented by translations in vernacular Chinese. It also includes illustrations by Mr. Pan Zhiyong, which vividly depict the image of Confucius with brush strokes.
