These works record another path of the author's life. Unlike the real path of life, it has the possibility of beinged, and it is accurate. Although the passage of time may cause the pages to yellow and the handwriting to fade, each new publication brings it back to life, restoring its vivid image. These stories reflect multiple aspects of modernism, embodying profound humanistic care and returning this concern for the state of human existence back to the basic and simple natural world. Ma Lan saw Zhou Lin's eyes tightly shut, his face even slightly distorted. He was half-opened mouth, panting heavily, with a faint noise in his breath. Shortly after, Zhou Lin suddenly burst into laughter. His head lowered, burying his face on Ma Lan's left side of the neck. He laughed so hard his whole body trembled. Ma Lan hugged him and laughed too, the two of them laughed uncontrollably for about five minutes before gradually calming down. After the laughter stopped, Zhou Lin asked Ma Lan, "What did you see on my face?" Ma Lan said, "Your expression looked very painful, but in fact, you were very happy." Zhou Lin said, "I express joy through pain." "That's what trembling is," Ma Lan said. "I saw trembling on your face." "Trembling?" Zhou Lin said, "I understand."
