The book mainly consists of two parts: instruction and demonstration, and internship assignments. The instruction and demonstration primarily covers the theoretical knowledge and standard operations of processes such as fitting, turning, milling, gear processing, grinding, and planing. The internship assignments are divided into several topics based on the skill requirements of the profession according to the national occupational standards, with progressively complex workpieces for students to practice their operational skills, and also explains the precautions to be noted during specific operations.
