Features: This book is a planned teaching material for vocational colleges under the Ministry of Education. It is divided into three parts: Part I is the Basic Part, which mainly covers the fundamental concepts of databases, relational databases, and SQL language; Part II is the Design Part, which mainly discusses database requirements analysis, conceptual database design, logical database design, physical database design, and database security protection; Part III is the Practice Part, which explains the entire process of implementing a database through a specific example. Based on the principle of "enough theory for vocational colleges," this book simplifies the theoretical content of databases and focuses on the core technologies, including the three-tier architecture, relational model, and structured query language (SQL). Following the practical principle, the book provides a comprehensive explanation of a specific database application example, covering the entire process from design to implementation, enabling students to develop basic database development skills. Considering the course offerings in some schools' computer application programs and the consensus among most instructors that large-scale database technology will be the mainstream, it is necessary for students in vocational college computer application programs to master this technology. Since our company does not have similar titles at the vocational college level, we chose this topic.
