Features: The medical textbook project by Higher Education Press was initiated and planned in early 2002 by the China Medical Doctor Association, the National Higher Education Teaching Research Association, and over a dozen renowned medical schools in China. Subsequently, dozens of additional institutions joined the project. Nearly two thousand authors participated in writing this textbook, including medical giants, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, leaders of relevant medical professional committees, and academic backbone members. What is particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of a large number of mid-career teachers and young educators working at the forefront of teaching and clinical practice.
The "Higher Education Press" medical textbooks retain the "three basics" (basic theory, basic knowledge, and basic skills) already covered in domestic textbooks while also removing outdated theories and content based on the transformation of the medical model and changes in the disease spectrum. Recognized new knowledge and technologies have been added. The textbooks are presented in a three-dimensional and serialized format to students and teachers, fully reflecting the characteristics of medical education.
In recent years, our press has not only published medical textbooks for other disciplines and levels but has also developed corresponding teaching resource databases and subject websites to provide three-dimensional teaching packages and teaching solutions for universities. Pursuing advanced educational concepts and teaching methods, and building high-quality textbooks, is our common aspiration!
This book emphasizes basic theories, basic knowledge, and basic techniques while highlighting practicality and relevance. It comprehensively covers the fundamental principles and concepts of basic immunology and provides a detailed introduction to clinical immunology.
