Features: The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Minzu University of China has a history of 15 years. In 1956, the Philosophy Department was established at Minzu College. In the 1970s, the faculty of the Philosophy Department trained a batch of students majoring in politics. In February 1986, the Department of Philosophy was founded on the basis of the former Philosophy Department of the Political Science Department. With the development of religious studies in our department, it was renamed the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies in August 2000. Over the 15 years since its establishment, under the direct leadership of the university party committee, with the efforts of all faculty and staff, significant achievements have been made in discipline construction, teaching reform, talent cultivation, faculty development, scientific research, and international exchanges.
