Features: Since the Yuan Dynasty, various ruling dynasties have employed unique strategies in governing Tibet. Some supported a single sect, issuing decrees to both monks and laypeople, while others established numerous sects to divide power. Wherever these strategies were applied, there were both successes and failures, but none completely negated the others. The Qing Dynasty ruled Tibet for over 250 years. Despite the passage of time and the changing circumstances in Tibet, I believe its efforts primarily focused on three aspects: First, [promoting the Yellow Hat sect]. Second, clarifying legal codes. Third, establishing regulations. It can be said that in terms of [promoting the Yellow Hat sect], clarifying legal codes, and establishing regulations, the Qing Dynasty went to great lengths, with the emperor issuing unprecedented numbers of decrees on various issues, accompanied by deep and thorough reflections. As the last feudal dynasty in Chinese history, the Qing Dynasty ruled China for nearly three centuries. One of the main reasons for its long-lasting reign was its ability to adapt its policies to the times and local conditions, including its ethnic and frontier policies. Although the series of ruling policies implemented by the Qing Dynasty in the minority regions across the country did not achieve its ultimate goal of [long-term stability], they had a profoundly far-reaching impact on the historical development of the various ethnic societies at the time and on the development of our multi-ethnic nation today. Tibet occupies a very important position in the history of China's southwestern frontier. Building on the governance of Tibet during the Yuan and Ming dynasties, the Qing Dynasty established more direct, comprehensive, and effective rule over Tibet. The Qing's Han-led policies on Tibet's politics, economy, and religion were more complete and distinctive, and they have had a significant impact on later generations and even today. Therefore, conducting an in-depth and detailed study and summary of the Qing Dynasty's policies in governing Tibet is of great historical and practical significance.
