I believe that landscaping plant protection must keep pace with the times, raising awareness of harmful biological control in landscaping plants, advancing in prevention strategies, establishing achievements in prevention tactics, breaking through in prevention techniques, and creating new measures in prevention. The first three chapters of this book were initially drafted as lecture notes and were used for thematic presentations and teaching in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Changchun, Zhengzhou, Dalian, and Fuxin, as a way to test the waters. "Green plant protection in landscaping" is an important component of ecological landscaping and a systematic project. Its implementation is a long-term, complex, and arduous process, involving both conceptual updates and technical improvements. It cannot be rushed but must also not be taken lightly. With limited knowledge, errors are inevitable in this work. It is merely a stepping stone to inspire further contributions, and I sincerely invite my colleagues to correct, enrich, and refine it, in the hope of ultimately achieving the goal of "green plant protection in landscaping" and contributing my modest efforts to enhancing the overall ecological effect and living environment quality of cities, as well as achieving ecological balance.
