The textbook provides a detailed elaboration on the basic content and steps of the comprehensive course design of mechanical design. The entire book is divided into four parts:
Part 1: Guidance for the Comprehensive Course Design of Mechanical Design, including Introduction, Overall Design of Mechanical Devices, Structural Design of Components, Design of Part Views for Assembly Drawings, Writing Calculation Manuals, and Preparing Defense Presentations;
Part 2: Design Data, which contains relevant standards, specifications, and reference examples for design;
Part 3: Design Task Sheets;
Part 4: Provided in CD format, including some design task sheets, electronic design guidance, and mechanical CAD platforms.
This textbook is suitable for both the integrated course teaching of the combined "Mechanical Principles" and "Mechanical Design" course designs, as well as for the separate teaching of these two courses. It is designed for use by faculty and students in mechanical and near-mechanical disciplines at higher engineering colleges.
