Does the baby's high fever convulsion occur before sleep or after sleep?

Patient's question:

The baby started fevering at around midnight on March 7th. The doctor diagnosed it as viral herpes, and they are taking medication for it. From 2 PM on March 7th to 15:00 on March 8th, the baby had a persistent high fever (39-40°C). During this time, they were given three suppositories of acetaminophen and one dose of Chen Gong Zai Xin, but the fever did not subside at all, meaning the high fever lasted for 25 hours straight. I want to ask if it’s possible that the baby had a febrile seizure during sleep and I didn’t notice it?
Previous treatment and effectiveness:
- One dose of Chen Gong Zai Xin
- Three suppositories of acetaminophen
- Medication prescribed by the doctor for viral herpes
Help needed:
Is it possible that the 25-hour high fever above 39°C could have resulted in a febrile seizure during sleep, which I didn’t notice?

Doctor's answer:

From the description, it seems the baby has been running a fever for 25 hours, and it's unlikely to experience another high fever seizure in this situation. Typically, high fever seizures occur within the first 24 hours of fever. Since your baby has been running a fever for 25 hours, it is highly unlikely to have another high fever seizure. The baby continues to have a fever. It is recommended to take oral antiviral medication while increasing fluid intake to prevent dehydration. Once the temperature is well-controlled and the fever subsides, you can stop medication.
