Features: Network optimization in mobile communication systems is a complex systematic project, involving issues such as frequency resources, wireless networks, switching networks, user distribution, and even the usage habits of mobile phone users. It requires complex testing and evaluation of network data. There is no fixed model for network optimization. Network optimization work is also a long-term task, encompassing all expansion and high-speed operations after network construction. As the number of users increases and the network scale expands, optimization work will continue to deepen. With the introduction of indoor coverage systems, microcells, and the use of new GPRS networking technologies, optimization work will become more complex and the tasks more challenging. This book is dedicated to network optimization in GSM mobile communication systems, covering topics such as basic principles of GSM, fundamental concepts of network optimization, related antenna and radio wave propagation knowledge, GSM network planning technology and traffic theory, coverage optimization, interference analysis in cellular mobile networks, wireless performance and control parameters, handover performance optimization, spectrum resource allocation strategies, engineering optimization techniques, data collection and analysis, dual-band network optimization, GPRS network planning and optimization, switching network optimization, etc. This book is suitable for professionals and managers engaged in mobile communication, as well as personnel involved in GSM network planning, maintenance, and optimization, and students and teachers in relevant disciplines at colleges and universities.
