Second Lu Xun Literature Prize Award-Winning Works Series · Short Stories

Author: Liu Qingbang, Shi Shuqing, Hong Ke
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2002-01-01
Features: An article mentions that the Lu Xun Literature Prize offers 3,000 yuan per winner, and someone hears it and says, "Not bad." Then, when they hear that football stars also receive 3,000 yuan each, everyone reacts with, "What are you talking about? Don't joke!" It shows that literature isn't valued today. Compared to the mid-length novella, the short story makes an extra 3,000 yuan in addition to the royalty, which is more worthwhile. Although the winning novels aren't particularly interesting, they are still more enjoyable than the "theoretical reviews" and "essays and sketches" that also won the prize.
