Features: Based on the textbook of "Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine" for higher medical colleges in China, this book has been adjusted, refined, and supplemented to meet the needs and characteristics of international students and trainees, combined with the practicalities of international student education. In the general part, the introduction of "Characteristics of Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine" has been primarily added. In the specific part, 40 diseases are selected for introduction, each disease is discussed under headings such as "Concept," "Etiology and Pathogenesis," "Diagnosis and Differential Diagnosis," "Pattern Differentiation and Treatment," "Summary," and "Review Questions." It strives to achieve clear and accurate "Concepts," concise and brief "Etiology and Pathogenesis," and concise and practical "Diagnosis and Differential Diagnosis." In the "Pattern Differentiation and Treatment," key points such as "Essential Points of Pattern Differentiation," "Overview of Pathogenesis," and "Key Points of Care" have been added to outline the main points, highlight key features, and reflect the book's characteristics. The "Summary" is mainly presented in the form of tables and charts to ensure it is concise and refined, facilitating review and memorization. Finally, "Review Questions" are listed to highlight the key and difficult points of each disease, promoting and assisting students in self-study. At the end of the book, there are an "Index of Disease Names" and an "Index of Formulas." Since many international students, especially short-term trainees, have a certain foundation in Western medicine, this book summarizes common Western medical disease names in the "Concept" section for reference. In the "Essential Points of Pattern Differentiation," it also points out common Western medical diseases associated with the pattern type. Additionally, a "Index of Disease Names" has been specially compiled to help international students refer to both Chinese and Western medicine during their studies, enabling them to better understand and master the principles and characteristics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as "treating the same disease differently" and "treating different diseases similarly."
