Features: The book consists of 28 chapters and 198 illustrations, along with 15 tables. In accordance with the new teaching plan and syllabus requirements, it fully accomplishes and implements all course and unit objectives. It primarily covers the anatomy and physiology of the female reproductive system, physiological obstetrics, pathological obstetrics, common obstetric surgeries, gynecology, women's health care, and family planning. Based on the second edition, new content has been added, including breastfeeding, mother and baby rooming-in, manual placenta separation, female sexually transmitted diseases, sex education, and common hormone tests. Some content has been revised or deleted, such as forceps delivery, breech delivery assistance, fetal destruction, induction of labor in late pregnancy, and repetitive content with other disciplines. During the writing process, after obtaining approval from the Department of Education and Science of the Ministry of Health, adjustments were made to some parts of the syllabus. The adjusted content is as follows: The syllabus has 27 units, while the textbook has 28 units. Among them: Unit 10, Pregnancy Pathology is changed to Pathological Pregnancy; Unit 17, Vulvar Nutritional Deficiency and Pruritus Vulvae is changed to Vulvar White Lesions and Pruritus Vulvae; Unit 18, Inflammation of the Female Reproductive System is changed to Inflammation of the Female Reproductive Organs; Unit 19, Tumors of the Female Reproductive System is changed to Tumors of the Female Reproductive Organs; Unit 21, Endometriosis is changed to Endometriosis and Adenomyosis of the Uterus; Unit 23 is changed to Abnormal Position of the Female Reproductive Organs, Traumatic Diseases, and Developmental Abnormalities; Female Sexually Transmitted Diseases are added as Unit 24, with 1 theoretical class (the practical time in the original teaching plan's flexible section is reduced from 2 classes to 1 class, after adjustment, the theoretical classes are 63, practical classes are 49, and the total classes remain 112); Unit 26 is changed to Sex Education and Women's Health Care.
