Yixue Tongzong (Comprehensive Collection of Medicine) is a series comprising 7 parts: Nandeng Benyi Buyi (Supplement to the Original Meaning of the Classic of Difficult Issues), Zhifeng Zhenshuo (Needle Therapy for Treating Diseases), Huai's Diagnostic Essentials, General Overview of Medical Books, Huai's Random Remarks, Miscellaneous Records, and Discussions. Except for Zhenshuo, none of these works are recorded in China. The series includes clinical insights and innovations from several physicians. The appendix at the end of the volume contains Ming Dynasty local medical administrative examination papers, now rarely seen in China, providing valuable materials for studying Ming Dynasty medical affairs. The medical books collected in this series are pre-Ming Dynasty editions, rare and excellent, reflecting the development of medicine before the Ming Dynasty. After being heavily punctuated and annotated, they hold high academic, practical, and documentary value, serving as references for Chinese medicine researchers, practitioners, and educators, as well as for libraries and archives.
