Patient's question:
The child has been crying non-stop recently and isn't eating much. Is it easy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia to recur?Doctor's answer:
Leukemia is a malignant tumor, a type of clonal malignant disease characterized by abnormal hematopoietic stem cells. Leukemic cells proliferate and accumulate excessively in the bone marrow and other hematopoietic tissues, infiltrating other organs and tissues, while suppressing normal hematopoiesis. Treatment is relatively difficult. The most advanced treatment currently is arsenic-induced apoptosis. The vaccine to prevent polio is now only available in sugar cubes. Currently, it is administered as BCG and hepatitis B vaccinations at birth, with the second hepatitis B shot given at one month, the third at six months. Sugar cubes are given from 2, 3, and 4 months to prevent polio, and from 3, 4, and 5 months for the DTP (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis) injection. The measles vaccine is administered at 8 months.
There are now additional paid vaccines available to prevent colds and autumnal diarrhea.
