This was a well-organized, premeditated, and meticulously planned armed explosion-robbery of an armored car. The criminals used explosive methods to openly rob an armored car in a downtown area, and the suspects were arrogant and extremely cruel. Due to this case being the most negative impact on Liaoning Province since the liberation, the suspect Zhang Xiangguang was dubbed the "King of Thieves Zhang Ziqiang of Mainland China."
