Features: This book is compiled according to the "National Postgraduate Entrance Examination English Test Syllabus (Non-English Major)". The English test for postgraduate entrance examination is in written form, with a duration of 180 minutes and a total score of 100. The test questions are divided into four parts, totaling 66 questions, including: listening, English knowledge application, reading comprehension, and writing. With the deepening of reform and opening-up, the standard for English listening tests has been improving year by year. Grammar is the foundation of English learning, and the mastery of grammatical structures directly affects a candidate's listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities. In terms of vocabulary, according to the syllabus requirements, candidates should be able to master and flexibly use approximately 5,300 words and related phrases. Writing is a comprehensive assessment of a candidate's English proficiency. One of the features of this book is its strong targeting. The compilers are all postgraduate graduates who have engaged in teaching work in universities for many years. During the teaching process, they have provided detailed explanations on common mistakes and confusing points through analyzing students' exam papers and exercises, which have been well-received by students. This book also draws on this teaching experience. Another feature is its strong practicality. We have studied the true questions from the postgraduate entrance examinations since 1990. In the test paper analysis section, we have tried to use true questions for detailed explanations and, based on this, have compiled ten sets of simulated questions for candidates to practice and self-assess. We have also provided detailed explanations for all the simulated questions to help candidates summarize and improve. The third feature is comprehensiveness. The content includes all the question types of the postgraduate entrance English examination. This book is of guidance significance and reference value for both college students and those preparing to study abroad.
