Features: With the increasing frequency of translation activities, translation theory works have become increasingly abundant, with new works being published every day. Translation practice, translation teaching, and research have made me deeply feel the need to include studies on translation procedures and translation universals that go beyond specific languages or the works of certain authors in necessary translation works. This book serves as a supplement to numerous translation works, aiming to demonstrate that excellent translators adopt the same translation procedures, regardless of the language or type of text. The content of this work does not include classical works, as the time distance between classical works and the present has intensified the weight of language, and the continuous evolution of language makes it difficult to utilize extralinguistic knowledge. In this book, translation is primarily studied from the perspective of the translator's translation process, which means that many other important aspects related to translation must be omitted. The book does not make special discussions on the genre of texts, as the principles of interpretation remain unchanged whether it is poetry or highly specialized technical translation. This paper also excludes translation errors caused by poor language proficiency: correcting language errors does not equate to elaborating on translation theory.
