Can a brain CT scan rule out epilepsy?

Patient's question:

The doll has epilepsy and has had it for a month. What should I do? I went to the hospital and had a brain CT, which was normal. The doctor said I still need an electroencephalogram to be sure, but I'm afraid it is epilepsy.

Doctor's answer:

Epilepsy patients should first avoid drinking alcohol and smoking; they should not stay up late; they should not eat foods that are easily irritating. They should maintain a good mood, avoid getting angry, and engage in more sports to strengthen their physical fitness and reduce the occurrence of colds.
On a daily basis, they should pay attention to the following:
First, diet should be light, with minimal meat, especially pork (absolute taboo for fatty pork). Other meats should be consumed in moderation. They should eat more foods rich in vitamins B and C, fresh vegetables, and foods rich in choline, such as apricots, bananas, grapes, oranges, algae, fish, eggs, and cabbage. Corn, brown rice, whole wheat, soybeans, garlic, mushrooms, yeast, milk, animal liver, sardines, and lean meats are also beneficial for the brain.
Second, appropriate physical exercise should be done to avoid overexertion. Maintain a regular sleep schedule to avoid staying up late and insufficient sleep.
Third, in terms of emotions, avoid getting angry and reduce stress in all aspects. Additionally, computers and TVs should not be used for too long—no more than one hour at a time.
