Features: The book in your hands is not just a collection of articles from a biological sex column, but a unique and entertaining read. Through the solace of insects grieving loss, wolves plagued by low self-esteem, and various organisms facing sexual troubles, the author weaves an engaging narrative about the rich knowledge of evolutionary biology of sex. All creatures must read it, even if you are just an ordinary human being. — Robert M. Shabos
The book is divided into three parts. The first part is titled "Let's Go to War." In this part, I attempt to explain why there are such significant differences between the sexes in their needs for folk sex and their attitudes toward life, and explore the consequences of these differences. The second part is "The Evolution of Degeneration." In this part, I discuss the extreme forms of sexual conflict between the sexes, where these conflicts can sometimes lead to terrible consequences, such as rape and cannibalism. In the last chapter of this part, I discuss the rare and abnormal phenomenon of monogamy. In the final part of the book, I will delve into a deeper question: Are males necessary? I believe that gender and sexual behavior are influenced by many factors during evolution. To find out why sexual behavior is a crucial driving force in our long evolutionary journey, in the last chapter, I will introduce the only known organism that has survived for millions of years without sexual behavior.
